All affected groups: WSU Pullman and WSU Research and Extension Units (REUs); departments using the UCCX system (Athletics, Housing, Creamery, KWSU, AOI, WSU Online)
All affected processes: Phone systems for WSU Pullman and WSU REUs. Phones may reregister during the initial start of a maintenance period but should return to normal service within 5 minutes.
During this maintenance timeframe, all service requests and changes for the Pullman and REU phone systems will be frozen until the upgrade is complete. Any required phone firmware upgrades and early application server upgrades will be completed as required before March 11 to minimize impact.
Duration of impact: Pullman and REU phone systems may reregister for 5 minutes. UCCX will be unavailable for 7 hours starting March 13.
Necessary follow up steps: While this work is not expected to impact Pullman or Extension users, ITS recommends users cycle the power on a phone by unplugging the cable from the back of the phone and plugging it back in if it does not re-register following any of the maintenance windows. UCCX users should also report any issues with the system following the March 13/14 maintenance.
