The following work is being completed: Due to recent malicious activity targeted at our infrastructure ITS will be taking the following actions:
- Disabling NTLM on all Active Directory Certificate Services Servers. Kerberos will continue to work for authentication to this service.
- The legacy AWSPKI infrastructure, which is not in use, will be retired at this time as well.
- The firewall rule that allows outbound SMBv1 and v2 from the domain controllers for printer discovery will be tightened as well to only allow SMBv3.
All affected groups: AD DS ad.wsu.edu and mgthub.local forest users
Duration of impact: No impact is anticipated for users.
All processes affected: Active Directory Domain Services and Active Directory Certificate Services
