The following work is being completed: Changes needed for Earlyoutreach migration from Gmail. The Earlyoutreach.wsu.edu domain has been using Gmail for email and has been advised that they need to start using 365 for mail services instead. During the migration a need to temporarily continue sending using the earlyoutreach.wsu.edu alias has come up and to facilitate this a few changes are needed. Organization Configuration setting to allow for sending from this domain will be enabled along with a transport rule to help facilitate sending these emails until the migration has completed and changes in their email process have been implemented.
All affected groups: Users of Earlyoutreach Gmail accounts that have been migrated to WSU’s 365 Exchange service and their customers.
All processes affected: Exchange. Organization Configuration change to allow for sending from this sub-domain.
Duration of impact: A few minutes.
Follow up steps customers need to take: Migrated Earlyoutreach senders will need to make some minor changes to their Outlook clients. Instructions will be sent to the administrators for Earlyoutreach.
