Start Time: 8:00 p.m.
End Time: 11:59 p.m.
The following work is being completed: ITS will shut down several domain controllers and bring them back up individually. This will also apply to several domain controllers in the ad.wsu.edu and mgthub.local forests that are physically located in Pullman. Only one domain controller per domain will be down at any point in time to maintain the resiliency of the service and minimize or eliminate customer impact.
All affected groups: All domains, including MGTHUB, Riverpoint, Vetmed, and AD.WSU.EDU domains.
Duration of impact for all locations: Each domain controller will be down for approximately 30 minutes. Due to the redundant nature of active directory, no user impact is expected for most users.
All affected processes: Clients connecting to the ad.wsu.edu and mgthub forest will use other domain controllers during the maintenance window. Any clients not utilizing the redundant nature of Active Directory may experience a brief interruption of service.
