The following work is being completed: ITS will work with Oracle to migrate Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)/Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to the latest Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen 2 platform.

Friday, May 5
1:00 PM: ITS will begin upgrading the Oracle Data Gateway service.
4:00 PM: Oracle will begin migrating WSU’s OAC/OBIEE instances to the Gen 2 platform.
Saturday, May 6
7:00 AM: ITS will begin testing to confirm OAC/OBIEE functionality.
All affected groups: All OAC/OBIEE users.
All affected processes: Oracle Analytics Cloud Data Visualization, Oracle Analytics Cloud Classics (also known as OBIEE) dashboards, analysis, and reports.
Duration of impact: Although the entire maintenance window is reserved for this work, different OAC/OBIEE services will be impacted at different times.
Friday, May 5
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Reports hosted in the OBIEE WSU Data Validation dashboard using live SQL queries to myWSU production will be unavailable.
4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
OBIEE Reporting and OAC Data Visualization will be available in Read-Only mode for about eight hours. Users will be able to access the platform for analytics, but changes made during this timeframe will not be saved.
Saturday, May 6
7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
ITS will test to confirm OAC/OBIEE functionality.
