Effective Sept. 30, all mainframe legacy reporting users will finalize transition to a new OBIEE data warehouse reporting process, and AIS mainframe access will be discontinued. This service change is in preparation for the AIS mainframe going offline permanently Oct. 31, replaced by Workday functionality as well as the new OBIEE data warehouse reporting.
With central HRS, Payroll, and Finance users already onboarded into the new reporting applications, additional AIS modules including HEPPS, DEPPS, BALANCES, PAPR, and PROPERTY, among others, are now accessible via legacy data retrieval applications.
ITS invites all users still accessing the AIS mainframe system to attend one of the several migration trainings scheduled in the coming weeks on Skillsoft Percipio: tinyurl.com/Skillsoft-Percipio
These sessions will teach users how to log into OBIEE reporting and navigate to legacy data. With ease of user transition a top priority, ITS automatically grants active AIS users access to the new screens based on existing AIS mainframe access. The new system also retains the names of familiar AIS screens, so navigating and finding data is as easy as possible.
This reporting change is designed to be seamless for users to adopt. For assistance, please direct questions to the Crimson Service Desk via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or phone 509‑335‑4357.
