The following work is being completed: Tier 1 SCCM Deployment and Downgrade of all Windows 2012 R2 and earlier Splunk Universal Forwarder clients to Version 7.3.9. This downgrade is necessary due to an OS incompatibility with Splunk Universal Forwarder client versions beyond 7.3.9.
All affected groups: All Tier 1 SCCM connected Windows 2012 R2 and earlier machines not previously excluded from SCCM based Splunk deployment.
Duration of impact: ITS will be deploying the Splunk Client on Tuesday, November 23rd at 6pm.
All processes affected: No outages are expected. The Universal Forwarder client will resume where it left off, once the installation is complete. All other installations of the current 8.1.1 client version will be unaffected.
