The following work is being completed: Microsoft is switching users with Microsoft 365 Education licenses from the classic version of Outlook for Windows to the new version of Outlook for Windows.
All affected groups: WSU users accessing the classic version of Outlook for Windows
All affected processes: Microsoft will automatically enable the new Outlook for Windows interface with this roll-out. Review a feature comparison between new Outlook and classic Outlook. This will not impact users already accessing new Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, or Outlook on the web.
Duration of impact: Users will maintain the ability to go back to and use classic Outlook. However, Microsoft may switch users again in the future.
Necessary follow-up steps: Impacted users may revert to classic Outlook for some time. Learn how to toggle out of the new Outlook for Windows.
