The following work is being completed: ITS is enabling a new button in Microsoft apps that provides access to Copilot Chat (web version). This button will provide an opt-in experience for Copilot Chat within Teams and Outlook until May 1, 2025.
All affected groups: WSU Microsoft users
All affected processes: New Copilot Chat button will appear in Microsoft Teams and Outlook apps.
Duration of impact: WSU Microsoft users can opt-in to Copilot Chat until May 1. Starting May 1, Microsoft will automatically pin Copilot Chat to the navigation menu in Teams and Outlook by default.
Necessary follow-up steps: None
Additional information: ITS is enabling this button ahead of the WSU Microsoft Copilot Chat Workshop to facilitate participation and engagement.
