Start Time: 4 a.m.
The following work is being completed: ITS is suspending Okta accounts that have been inactive for 180 days or more to comply with the WSU Account and Identity Management standard.
All affected groups: WSU Okta accounts with 180 days or more of inactivity. This population will exclude select incoming student populations completing the new student process, along with select user groups who typically access their accounts on a limited annual basis according to their role at WSU.
All affected processes: Impacted users will no longer be able to sign in to WSU Okta services with their university credentials until their accounts are reactivated.
Duration of impact: This is a permanent, rolling change. WSU Okta accounts that reach 180 days of inactivity following March 25 will be suspended daily at 4 a.m.
Necessary follow-up steps: If a WSU Okta account is suspended and needs to be reactivated, users will need to contact Crimson Service Desk to complete visual verification and regain access to their account.
