Justin Hughes

Justin serves as the Director of Enterprise Applications and Information Management at WSU. His team provides analytics, myWSU services, cloud infrastructure, and integration solutions.

Justin joined WSU in 2010 during the myWSU implementation project. After successful completion, he was promoted to Manager of the technical team responsible for myWSU and Business Intelligence. Following the integration of the myWSU unit into ITS, Justin became Director. He focuses on team development, project management, and process implementation to enhance stability and transparency.

Justin prioritizes leadership through coaching, mentoring, and consistent communication with his staff. His commitment to continuous improvement drives positive outcomes for WSU. Justin holds a B.S. in Computational Mathematics from the University of Idaho and graduated from the NWACC Leadership Development program in 2019.

In his free time, he enjoys family activities, sports, games, and volunteering for local non-profits.
