Biography
Bryan Valley joined Washington State University in 2001. He currently serves as Director of Information Technology Services and provides leadership for system-wide enterprise engineering and infrastructure. Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Valley oversees a portfolio of core technology services that support the university’s academic, research, and administrative missions across all campuses.
In his expanded role effective December 2025, Valley transitioned from a Spokane-focused leadership position to a broader system engineering oversight role. His strategic focus centers on strengthening enterprise-scale service delivery, ensuring high availability for critical systems, and unifying technology support standards university-wide. He directs high-performing teams across five primary operational pillars: WSU Zoom Team, Data Center Operations (DCO), Enterprise Endpoint Management (EEM), Collaboration & Directory Services (CDS), and Pullman Integrated Academic Technologies (PIAT).
Valley holds industry-recognized certifications, including credentials from the International Data Center Authority (IDCA) and Lean IT, underscoring his expertise in optimizing complex IT environments for efficiency and resilience.
