The following work is being completed: Zoom is releasing an update for versions 6.7.0 and higher that introduces a redesigned interface across desktop, mobile, and web platforms.
All affected groups: WSU Zoom users who choose to opt in before February 2026
All affected processes:
- Review Zoom release notes to learn more about all expected changes.
- This optional update will not remove core Zoom features or collaboration tools.
- This optional update is available for the Zoom application on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices.
Duration of impact: This update is optional until February 2026 when it becomes required as part of quarterly WSU Zoom version updates.
Necessary follow-up steps: WSU Zoom users may update now or wait until the mandatory update in February 2026.
