Please see the following scheduled Information Technology Services (ITS) maintenance process:

End Date: Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2025
The following work is being completed: As part of the WSU System Wireless Refresh Project, ITS is replacing the wireless access points (APs) in the Information Technology Building (ITB).
All affected groups: Users connecting to WSU wireless networks in ITB.
All affected processes: ITS will be replacing APs one at a time. During this process, the following wireless SSIDs will be retired:
- WSU Wireless Crimson → replaced with WSU Wireless
- WSU Guest Crimson → replaced with WSU Guest
- Eduroam Crimson → replaced with Eduroam
Duration of impact: Each AP will experience a network outage of up to 10 minutes as it is replaced.
Necessary follow-up steps: The new SSIDs are already being advertised in ITB. To ensure a seamless transition, users are encouraged to connect to the wireless network via the updated SSIDs (WSU Wireless, WSU Guest, or Eduroam) in advance of this maintenance.
Please Note: As ITS coordinates work with vendors, we will promptly share any updates that may change the maintenance timeline, expected impact, technical requirements, or implementation procedures. We will ensure you remain informed of any planned or unplanned changes to this maintenance process.
