Effective Jan. 14, 2026, WSU is discontinuing the InCommon SSL certificate service for baseline website certifications. After this date, new InCommon certificates will no longer be issued.
Certificates issued before Jan. 14 will remain valid until their designated expiration dates.
All departments are encouraged to review their current use of InCommon SSL certificates, and proactively evaluate and pursue alternative SSL certificate options before the certificates expire to prevent service disruptions.
