The following work is being completed: ITS is updating the default password policy GPO’s in all production active directory domains. The minimum required characters will change from 10 to 15 to align with both existing Fine grained password policies and university policies.
All affected groups: The following domains will be impacted by this change:
- ad.wsu.edu
- vetmed.wsu.edu
- riverpoint.ad.wsu.edu
- mgthub.local
All affected processes: This work will impact all future password resets in these domains that are not covered by other policies.
Duration of impact: This is a permanent change. No service outage or disruption is expected during the maintenance window.
