The following work is being completed: Microsoft is retiring the Outlook Lite app.
All affected groups: Users utilizing the Outlook Lite app
All affected processes:
- Microsoft will block new installations of the Outlook Lite app.
- Impacted users can continue using the app for a limited time. Full retirement of the Outlook Lite app is expected a few months after October 2025.
Duration of impact: This is a permanent, Microsoft-driven change.
Necessary follow-up steps: Impacted users must transition to the Outlook Mobile app. Users can sign in with their WSU credentials to access all existing email, calendar, and files.
