Microsoft 365 Services Issue, 3/1

WSU users may be intermittently experiencing issues when logging into or accessing Microsoft services. Information Technology Services (ITS) has received multiple reports of this issue regarding accessing Outlook clients. ITS has validated that there is a widespread enterprise issue. Microsoft is currently working on resolving this problem. Time for resolution of this issue is not yet available.

Microsoft has resolved the issue that was impacting Exchange Online, Outlook and Teams.  Please see the following Microsoft update.

Users attempting to access one or more Microsoft 365 services may be impacted.

Additionally, users may experience the following impact scenarios: – Office 365 and Outlook connectors are unable to run flows or solutions within Microsoft Power Platform and Logic Apps.

Root cause
A recent update by Microsoft to their authentication systems contained a code issue, resulting in impact.

Updates
Microsoft reverted the code change and has confirmed that the service has returned to a healthy state. Microsoft entered a period of extended monitoring to ensure that the service remains stable, and to address any outstanding impact to other Microsoft 365 services.
