Quarterly Network Maintenance, 12/16 to 12/19

The following work is being completed: ITS is implementing a quarterly network infrastructure upgrade process to address security and bug fixes. This quarter’s updates will follow the schedule below. Network service interruptions are expected during the starred timeframe:

Duration of impact for all locations: While network/internet outages during the highlighted maintenance window above are not expected to exceed 15-30 minutes, the entire maintenance windows are reserved for this work. No outages are expected for the Core Switch and Core Router upgrades due to infrastructure redundancy.

All processes affected: Internet and VoIP phone connectivity. The firewall failovers will also cause a one- to two-second delay in traffic each time, possibly affecting very sensitive jobs.
