WSU Adobe Creative Cloud License Renewal

WSU has renewed its enterprise licensing agreement with Adobe. The renewed agreement preserves all existing licensing terms, eligibility requirements, and available services.

As the renewed agreement is deployed, Information Technology Services (ITS) will refresh licensing for Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Express. Most eligible WSU users will experience no impact during this process.

Faculty and Staff Access

Permanent faculty and staff with full-time or part-time status remain eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. Full-time faculty and staff are automatically licensed for Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express.

Employees who currently have an assigned Adobe Creative Cloud license do not need to take any action. ITS is proactively refreshing existing licenses to help ensure uninterrupted access as the renewed agreement is implemented. Employees who experience unexpected access issues should contact Crimson Service Desk for assistance.

New Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are available upon request for eligible employees. Employees should contact their local IT support team. Local IT support staff must then submit a request to Crimson Service Desk. ITS will verify the employee’s affiliation, confirm eligibility, and manually assign the license.

Student Access

As part of the annual licensing refresh process, ITS has deactivated existing student Adobe Creative Cloud licenses.

Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at the Pullman, Vancouver, Tri-Cities, and Everett campuses remain eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud licenses and are automatically licensed for Adobe Express.

Students enrolled at the Global and Spokane campuses are not eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud licenses under the current agreement and must purchase licenses independently if access to Creative Cloud products is required. These students are also not eligible for Adobe Express through WSU.

Eligible students enrolled in courses that require Adobe Creative Cloud access can reactivate or request a new license by signing in with their WSU credentials at the updated licensing link.
