The following work is being completed: Zoom is updating its web interface, introducing changes to the layout, navigation, settings organization, visual design, accessibility features, and mobile responsiveness, while retaining existing core functionality.
All affected groups: Users who regularly access the Zoom web portal
All affected processes:
- Changes to the web interface layout include updated menus, navigation paths, button placements, and visual styling.
- Settings and preferences through the Zoom web portal will have a reorganized structure.
- The Zoom web portal will have enhanced search and discovery functionality.
- Improved accessibility features may change how some interface elements are used or displayed.
- No changes to core Zoom functionality are expected.
Duration of impact: This is a permanent, Zoom-driven change.

WSU users are encouraged to preview the updated interface by signing in to the WSU Zoom web portal with their university credentials and enabling the “Try new experience” toggle in the top-right corner:
