The following work is being completed: ITS adding the following standardized disclaimer to all WSU Zoom meeting invitation emails:

Important reminder: This meeting may use Zoom’s Al Companion features and may be recorded and transcribed as determined by the host of this meeting. By participating, you may be captured in the recording, transcript, and any Al-generated summaries or notes. If you have any concerns or would prefer not to be recorded, please contact the meeting host before the meeting begins. See WSU Zoom – Policy and Compliance for how meeting data is stored and used.

All affected groups: WSU Zoom users 

All affected processes:

  • WSU Zoom meeting invitation emails generated through university accounts will automatically include the new disclaimer by default.
  • No impact to meeting creation, scheduling, and hosting processes is expected.

Duration of impact: No service outage or disruption is expected as a result of this change.
