The following work is being completed: Canvas will update its general login page with visual interface changes to align with required web accessibility standards.
All affected groups: Users who access Canvas through the general Canvas login page and do not authenticate via Okta (login.wsu.edu)
All affected processes:
- WSU users who log in through canvas.wsu.edu will not see any changes to the login page or the authentication process.
- Updates will only affect the appearance of the general Canvas login page and do not modify authentication methods or account access.
- The general Canvas login page will display an updated interface, including revised theming, a standardized white background for the login form, and reduced color options in the Theme Editor.
Duration of impact: No service outage or disruption is expected. Visual interface changes are permanent.
