End of Support for Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Extended, 3/10

Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2026

The following work is being completed: Microsoft’s Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Extended is reaching end of support.

All affected groups: WSU technical support staff utilizing Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Extended

All affected processes: Microsoft will no longer support the​ Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Extended.

Duration of impact: This is a permanent, Microsoft-driven change.

Necessary follow-up steps: Identify WSU-owned devices currently configured with Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel Extended. For any remaining devices, plan to follow the twice-yearly update cycle in January and July, or migrate user-facing or interactive devices to a supported update channel.
