The following work is being completed: ITS is uninstalling the Splunk Universal Forwarder agent from Windows servers and workstations that are managed by ITS Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM). This is to ensure that WSU complies with the Splunk license expiration in January 2026.
All affected groups: All Windows servers and workstations currently managed by ITS MECM / SCCM
All affected processes: Splunk Universal Forwarder agents that remain installed. No reboot is required.
Duration of impact: This is a permanent change.
