The following work is being completed: ITS is upgrading the Palo Alto Global Protect VPN client for security updates and bug fixes.
All affected groups: WSU GlobalProtect VPN users
All affected processes:
- GlobalProtect VPN users may receive an upgrade prompt the next time their client connects to the portal after the change.
- Users can accept the upgrade or defer the prompt.
- Existing VPN sessions will not disconnect.
Duration of impact: No service outage or disruption is expected during the maintenance window.
Necessary follow-up steps: Users are encouraged accept the GlobalProtect upgrade prompt when it appears at their next connection attempt.
