End Time: 9 p.m.
The following work is being completed: ITS is replacing the expiring certificates on WSU ClearPass Radius servers for all wireless service set identifiers (SSIDs). This may briefly disrupt wireless network connections during the update.
All affected groups: Users connected to a WSU wireless SSID
All affected processes:
- WSU wireless SSIDs may experience brief service disruptions and require some devices to revalidate or accept the updated certificate before reconnecting.
- Review a complete list of impacted SSIDs.
Duration of impact: Wireless network disruptions lasting up to five minutes are expected. However, the entire maintenance window is reserved for this work.
Necessary follow-up steps: No action is required for most users. However, some devices may prompt users to verify or accept the new certificate. If this occurs, users should select “Accept,” “Connect,” or “OK” to proceed. This prompt may also display additional information about the certificate, radius server, and wireless connection.
