GlobalProtect Client Update, 6/9

Please see the following scheduled Information Technology Services (ITS) maintenance process:

Date: Tuesday, June 9, 2026

Start Time: 12 p.m.

End Time: 1 p.m.

The following work is being completed: ITS will update the GlobalProtect VPN client for security and bug fixes.

All affected groups: Users connecting to the WSU GlobalProtect VPN service

All affected processes: The WSU GlobalProtect VPN service will remain available during this maintenance window.

Duration of impact: No service outage or disruption is expected during this maintenance window.

Necessary follow-up steps: Following the maintenance window, users may be prompted to update the GlobalProtect client when reconnecting. Users on managed devices with the update already deployed via endpoint management tools will not see this prompt.
