With summer plans just around the corner, take a moment now to set up a backup multi‑factor authentication (MFA) security method for your WSU account.
Summer often brings new phones, lost or broken devices, and travel. If your primary MFA security method becomes unavailable, having a backup option in place can help prevent account access issues.
Before summer starts:
- Review your current MFA setup
- Set up at least one backup option
- Test your backup option so you are familiar with how it works

Tip: Set up your backup MFA security method on a different device than your primary one. This helps ensure you can still access your account if your main device is lost, replaced, or unavailable.
A quick check now can help save you time and stress so you can enjoy your summer with one less thing to worry about.
