The following work is being completed: ITS is applying software updates to the Domain Name Service (DNS) environment.
All affected groups: WSU DNS administrators and on-campus WSU end-users
All affected processes:
- Access to the administrative DNS console will be temporarily unavailable.
- Individual DNS servers will be temporarily offline.
- This maintenance will not impact DNS services with built-in redundancies.
Duration of impact:
- Administrative DNS Console: Unavailable for up to two hours from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Individual DNS Servers: Offline for up to 10 minutes starting at 8 p.m.
Necessary follow-up steps: Please reach out to ITS Data Center Operations if you experience service disruptions exceeding 10 minutes.
