Please see the following scheduled Microsoft change:
Date: Between early-March and late-June 2026 (An exact implementation date for WSU’s Microsoft environment is unavailable)
The following work is being completed: Microsoft is retiring the OneView and TrueTime features from Outlook Web App (OWA). OneView allows users to connect personal email accounts to their work mailbox in OWA. TrueTime allows users to view personal and work calendars together in OWA.
All affected groups: WSU users who have connected work and personal accounts in OWA
All affected processes:
- Microsoft will remove OneView and TrueTime features from OWA.
- Users will no longer be able to connect personal accounts with work accounts inside OWA.
- Microsoft will automatically disconnect existing connected accounts.
Duration of impact: This is a permanent, Microsoft-driven change.
Necessary follow-up steps:
- Impacted users should transition to the Outlook desktop application for Windows or Mac devices. Outlook desktop applications will continue to support multi-account access and the OneView and TrueTime features.
- Impacted users may independently access personal and work accounts or manually schedule corresponding events on work and personal calendars in OWA.
