In March 2026, Information Technology Services (ITS) will begin migrating Atlassian applications, Jira and Confluence, from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
The migration is expected to take six to eight months. During this period, Data Center versions of Jira and Confluence will remain fully operational.
In the coming weeks, the project team will contact WSU Jira and Confluence administrators and users to prepare their spaces, service desks, and projects for migration.
With Atlassian Cloud, WSU is expected to see more features, improved support, and faster delivery of upgrades and security patches.
