The following work is being completed: ITS is decommissioning the existing legacy production Exchange 2016 servers as they near end of life. The decommissioning process will occur in the following phases:
- Tuesday, July 8 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. – The first server will be placed into maintenance mode.
- Thursday, July 10 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. – The second server will be placed into maintenance mode.
- Thursday, July 17 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. – If no issues are observed, both servers will be turned off.
- Thursday, July 24 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. – If no negative impact is observed, the servers will be fully decommissioned.
All affected groups: WSU users managing a service that may still depend on the impacted servers.
All affected processes: Two legacy production Exchange 2016 servers (its-exch-01 and its-exch-02)
Duration of impact: This is a permanent change.
