The following work is being completed: WSU scheduled critical maintenance with Explorance to transition the university course evaluation system, Blue, to a new data center location. During this maintenance window, WSU Blue will be inaccessible.
While the service is offline, ITS is also upgrading WSU Blue’s SSO authentication from Shibboleth to Okta.
All affected groups: WSU instructors, staff, and graduate students who have course evaluation reports in Blue.
All affected processes: Access to WSU Blue during the maintenance window and SSO authentication for the service following the completion of the maintenance.
Duration of impact: Six days. WSU Blue will be inaccessible during the entire maintenance window. No course evaluations are scheduled during this maintenance window, minimizing user impact.
Necessary follow up steps: None
Additional information:
- The WSU Blue user interface, functionality, existing report availability, and all other service features will remain unchanged.
- WSU users can access existing reports in WSU Blue once the maintenance is complete on Aug. 31.
- Starting Aug. 31, WSU users will authenticate through Okta to access Blue.
