WSUnet network architecture: “Hub and Spoke” model with hub at Seattle TierPoint Datacenter

WSUnet provides interconnectivity between all campuses within the WSU system. WSUnet provides the ability to send all network traffic between campuses more easily while also keeping WSU campuses more secure. Each site has a router that is connected to the central point of presence in Seattle in a hub and spoke model with the hub being in Seattle at the TierPoint Datacenter. WSUnet also provides a large internet connection to the rest of the world. WSUnet provides WSU the ability to peer directly with other service providers and entities (ie. Amazon, Azure, NetFlix, etc.)
