Dates: Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30, 2023
Start Time: 8:00 PM (each night)
End Time: 11:59 PM (each night)
The following work is being completed: ITS is replacing the Pullman Campus Firewalls due to a vendor-driven RMA request on the following schedule:
Wednesday, March 29
- Replace ITB Campus Firewall
- Failover from Sloan Campus Firewall to ITB Campus Firewall
Thursday, March 30
- Replace Sloan Campus Firewall
- Several failovers to test the high-availability
Duration of impact of all locations: Although no service interruptions are expected, the change involves a firewall failover.
All processes affected: The failover will cause a one- to two-second delay in traffic each time, possibly affecting very sensitive jobs.
