The following work is being completed: CVE-2022-32158 requires an immediate upgrade of WSU’s Splunk environment. During the maintenance window Splunk will be placed in maintenance mode where data will not be ingested, nor will searches or scheduled searches be able to execute.
Duration of impact: 1-3 hours depending on upgrade process.
All affected groups: WSU Splunk users.
Follow-up steps customers need to take: Universal Forwarder owners, ensure UF’s are version 9.0 and communicating with Splunk indexers.
