VPN Maintenance Dec 21 and Dec 29

Please see the following Information Technology Services (ITS) scheduled maintenance:

Date: Tuesday, December 21 and Wednesday, December 29

The work is scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday, Dec 21 – 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  • WSU Vancouver (portal vpn.vancouver.wsu.edu)
  • Wednesday, Dec 29 – 8:00 PM-10:00 PM
  • WSU Pullman (portal vpn.wsu.edu)
  • WSU Everett (vpn.everett.wsu.edu)
  • WSU Spokane (portal sslvpn.spokane.wsu.edu)

The following work is being completed: ITS will be implementing a bug fix affecting users who connect to vpn.wsu.edu, vpn.everett.wsu.edu, sslvpn.spokane.wsu.edu, and vpn.vancouver.wsu.edu for the VPN Portal. After this maintenance is complete, users should only have one pop-up browser window.  The look of the login screen will also change slightly.

All affected groups: WSU Pullman, WSU Everett, WSU Vancouver, and WSU Spokane VPN users

Duration of Impact: The maintenance is expected to take less than 5 minutes, but the entire maintenance window is reserved for this work.  For users on the VPN when this change is made, they may be disconnected and need to reconnect.

All Processes Affected: VPN Portal vpn.wsu.edu, vpn.everett.wsu.edu, sslvpn.spokane.wsu.edu, and vpn.vancouver.wsu.edu
